Rapid Start
When you first install Run Stats your journal will be empty. You can start fresh and build your log from scratch, or you can backfill your recent history automatically.
How It Works
If your journal is empty, you'll see a "Rapid Start" button on the Journal page. Tap it and the app will generate journal entries from your last 90 days of running stored in Apple Health.
This gives you an instant history to work with — you can then edit any of these entries to add details like terrain, how you felt, or what shoes you wore.
Good to Know
- Rapid Start only appears when your journal is empty
- It pulls data from Apple Health, so only runs already recorded there will appear
- You can always add more detail to any auto-generated entry afterwards
