Helping you build your running log

Welcome to Run Stats

Run Stats provides a comprehensive but simple way to maintain a view of your running activities and workout data, either captured by your fitness watch or manually recorded. The running-oriented features of the app can provide valuable insights into your health and fitness helping you to balance your activities and see trends.

It includes:

  • A running journal and analysis of runs
  • Recorded workout runs and metrics
  • Personal records (PBs)
  • Gear tracking

Running Journal

Log additional details about your runs, such as terrain (trail, road), type (easy, tempo), and any aches or discomfort. Gain insights into patterns and adjust your training accordingly from your journal.

Logged workout runs and metrics

Dive deeper into your runs with detailed metrics from Apple Watch and more basic information from other sources. Works seamlessly with workouts initiated from Apple Workouts, NRC (Nike Run Club), Runkeeper, and other apps integrated with Apple HealthKit. The type of data available is limited based on the watch or app recordings. This means some limitations for non Apple Watch use – Garmin data is limited for instance. Routes created in HealthKit by NRC, Connect or Withings are also not added to Apple Health and so are not available. Data on screen adjusts to the available data set.

Run workouts can also be manually added if you don’t have a watch compatible with Apple HealthKit.

Personal Records (PBs)

Understand your performance and track improvements over time. Keep a history of your fastest times for common distances (e.g., 5K, 10K, half, marathon). Remember achievements and set new goals based on your PBs. Includes the ability to select from your records truly representative values.

Gear Tracking

Keep tabs on your primary running gear (such as shoes, apparel) to monitor wear and tear. Replace items as needed to maintain optimal performance or as aches and pains emerge. Multiple items or zero items can be tracked per run.

Happy running!
